Sea buckthorn seed oil (medical sea buckthorn oil) is a natural plant product extracted from the sea buckthorn seed. It is rich in VE, VA, such essential amino acids as lys and glu, and of trace elements including Fe and Zn. When taken by humans, this oil can not only inhibit the peroxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, but also eliminate free radicals, improve microcirculation of focal tissue and accelerate tissue regeneration and epithelium healing. The umbilliferone that it contains can lower the coagulation of blood and prevent the formation of blood clots, thus guarding against throubotic phlebitis and throubotic infarction to some degree. The triterpenic acid and triterpenol that it contains can stimulate the heat-beat, while the sitosterol combines food and cholesterol together to prevent atheroseleorsis. Furthermore, sea buckthorn oil is useful for treating corneal injuries and viral hepatitis. Pharmaceutical effects: 1) Can adjust immunization to promote antisepsis functions 2) Can resist cancer, directly inhibit sarconatosis (S180), melanoma (B16), lymphatic leukemia (P388) and ascites carcinoma 3) Outside the body, it can kill saconatosis (S180), lymphatic leukaemia (L1210, P388), human leukaemia infected cells (K562) and human gastric carcinoma cells (7901) 4) Can accelerate tissue regeneration and healing of ulcers 5) Used for treating cancer of the esophagus, cervix, ventricles, arteries, liver, breast, rectum and lymphadenoma 6) Used for treating arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease and fatty liver 7) Useful for treating digestive system diseases, including chronic superficial gastritis, atrophic gastritis and gastric ulcers 8) Can relieve many bad reactions caused by cancer radiotherapy and chemotherapy 9) Effective against burns, scalds, cuts and frostbite Quality index: 1) Relative density: 0.8900 - 0.9550 2) Index of refraction (20oC): 1.465 - 1.477 3) Acid value (mg KOH/g): Ëœ40 4) Iodine value: 130 - 200 5) Saponification value (mg/g): 180 - 210 6) Unsaponification: Ëœ1 7) Moisture content (%): Ëœ0.3 8) Content of VE (mg/100g): â„¢600 9) α-tacopherol (mg/100g): â„¢30 10) As (ppm): Ëœ0.1 11) Hg (ppm): Ëœ0.05 12) Peroxide (%): Ëœ0.40 13) Organic solvent residue (ppm): according to the GB2716 standard
